Aly had to say good-bye to the closest friend she has ever known, last summer when Abi and her family moved to Canada. Abi was practically part of our family, as the girls had been close friends since the day they met in 1st grade. We were all sad to see her and her sweet family move away. The girls have kepts close thanks to texting and cell phones, but it has still been a really hard transition for Aly. Well, last week, Abi called me to tell me she was coming with her father to Casper and she wanted to surprise Aly. I told Aly she had a surprise package coming in the mail so we had to stick close to home. The look on her face was priceless when Abi walked through her bedroom door. They hugged and cried and giggled....just like the good old days. We had several days with Abi, and it was wonderful to see her again. We're hoping to go to a Bible Camp with their family in Jackson Hole this summer.
